As I am at 75k miles on my 2021 gladiator... I’m wondering what I can expect to get out of this vehicle in terms of total miles.
is it realistic to think I can get to 200k on this vehicle ? Do I sell and get a new one while it still has some value etc.
I know there is no crystal ball, but curious what you guys think is reasonable to expect for how many miles these last.
oil changed mobile one full synth religiously and always maintain. Got 500k miles on a Subaru once but Jeep doesn’t have their reliability rep.

Jeep Gladiator As I approach 75k miles…. 2017-11-03_08-41-12_000

I flew this when I was in college... College was $245/semester then... I think it's still flying...
It became eligible for social security for almost two decades ago.
You've got this.

It depends on what works for you. Are you willing to replace things as they go bad or would you rather not have the headache of having to do so? I would think that it's a money/headache issue. New Jeeps would cost more in the long run but you get updated safety features and fewer worries. Keeping your '21 would mean occasional breakdowns and weekends in the garage (yours or a pros). What would make you happier?

I routinely keep our vehicles for 10 years but since I retired I might shoot for more as the last few vehicles were still running great and that included two jeeps.

Solicited Advice ... Assuming you bought it new, and that was when things were expensive, I'd hold onto it until there's a model change, for a couple of reasons. Jeep just had two fire sale model years with deep discounts on 2023 and 2024, followed by a sticker decrease for 2025. So, you'll be paying up big for little "gain."

I'd wait for a model refresh and/or a new engine offering you may want. If when you see the model refresh and you don't like it, you can grab the last "JT" at a great discount ... or you may love the new model.

I'm older than you, or at least I look older than you do, and I like to think that my Jeeps are the last I will ever buy. I want to give them to my kids when I stop driving.

The downside: I can't shop at Costco or Sam's anymore because I keep thinking, "This is the last 3 gallons of mouthwash I'll ever buy." I wanted a key tag... I had to buy 50... it was cheaper than buying 4 at Auto Zone... Those key tags will be passed down through several generations of my family.

I just cracked 75k last week. Mines running great and I plan to keep it forever. But I bought a cheap daily driver in April of 24 to start putting miles on. So far that’s over 7,000 miles so far, that would have been on the gladiator. I do replace parts with upgraded parts a lot, and also do 5k or more often oil changes. All other maintenance schedules are done earlier than oem recommendations. I agree with others that it’s more economical to replace parts on an older vehicle, than it is to replace vehicles every 5 years or more.

There are those around here that have more than 75,000 miles on their Gladiators. Mine is a 2020 with 97000. Depends on how you drive yours as to how long parts may last. I've gotten my money's worth out of the extended warranty on the Gladiator. My wife doesn't want to buy a new one or replace it because it's still running brian, and I don't think she trusts Jeep reliability. I tell her it was a covid truck and other people haven't had the same issues we have.

We pass down one of our cars to each of our kids after college graduation, to give them a debt-free start. One of them earned an engineering scholarship and so I promised a new car. Since I gave our oldest my Honda Civic Hatchback commuter, I figured I'd get our recent grad a brand new one ... Until I saw the crazy increase in prices.

It was then that I changed my original pledge to keep my JKU Rubicon forever and I decided 38k miles was new enough to pass it down and so I went out and got myself a 2024 JTRX. Win-Win!

I'm with you all the way there. My boys and I love classic Jeeps. I thought this would be a great way for them to each have a classic Jeep when they have the time and resources with which to enjoy them.
