'21 Mojave. I bought the AUX switch kit from Jeep. Install went as expected until I got to the unpinning wire #13 in GY (connectorX302) plug. According to the diagram in the 13th spot is the orange (D401) wire. My 13th spot had a plug with no wire. 13th spot is 5 from left side. The 5th spot from the right side has an orange wire. This is the only orange wire in the plug. So, I used that wire and finished install. Obviously, this is where the problem starts. Switches do not illuminate. They do show up in App pages. Used the Tazer to turn them on. When I connect power, the yellow locker light comes on and flashes. When the power is disconnected from battery the locker warning light goes off. I don't even care that if I used the wrong wire the locker should fault all the time because circuit is broken, and it doesn't. I just hate electrical crap, and this is why haha. Does anyone know what wire to use if this the wrong wire. A good source for a labeled wiring diagram so I can fix this. Thank you in advance.

Ecidiego I just watched that video and it shows that I used the correct wire. Now I have no idea what could be wrong. The instructions from Mopar show the wrong pin. Thank you for the help. That was exactly what I was looking for. Now i just to figure out what's going on. When I get home tonight, I will watch whole video and see if I can find a mistake I made.

I just watched a video from CJ's Pony parts on the install and it shows I used the correct pin. Now im just confused. Help
The connector that joins the two orange wires is a common source of trouble. Many don't get it engaged just right.

If the orange wire can be pulled back AT ALL from the connector, you didn't set it right. Some people bypass the connector and just join the two wires with solder.

Another possible problem - the 5A fuse on the engine side harness. Many people leave this in during install and connect the battery and pop it. Check that one.

Can you check these settings with Tazer? This is what I set with AlfaOBD:

LIN and Misc: ASBM Present: Yes

Suspension: Configuration Aux Switches PTO: Four Switches with Cutoff

Cust.Set.Menu 1: Auxiliary Switches CSM Present: Switch 1 - 4 option

You obviously have the bottom set if you see them in the 8.4 - the top 2 are also required.

Did you pin the control switch connector correctly? I work aircraft avionics systems in my day job and even I found the MOPAR kit instructions to have pitfalls if you do not triple check what you are doing each step of the way. The whole kit is a bit of a pisser if you ask me.

I honestly have no idea. I am going to make sure I did the reboot on Tazer settings in the morning. I will replace the 5A fuse because I left it in as well. @Hootbro I will check that connection in the morning as well. I realized looking back at GY pic in instructions that the pic is from behind not front so that is where I thought 13 was other side. I'll update in the AM. Thank you guys again for your help.

I read the instructions 2 nights ago. May install myself, may not.

Does the dealer have to do any programing that directly affects function or is all they do updating th cars VIN Profile only? Instructions have them logging in a few times??

I wish for my old radio and remote start I could have completed the installs without them???!!!

That is were I would look to. I installed mine and had the dealship flash it for me, they only charged 50 bucks to do it. The tech had to pull that concoct and seat the pin properly, I didn't get it in far enough.

Update. I still hate wiring with a bloody passion. Plug connecting harness to switches, the one Hootbro, mentioned, is wired correctly. The wires are seated as well. Connections with orange wires in main harness and "loop" I installed are correct and seated. I unpinned the 1 wire connection Ecidiego spoke of and connected the wires directly. Solid feel with no movement in connection. I replaced the 5A fuse.
When the ground is hooked up, with or without positive side fuse in, to ground post on subframe the locker warning light comes on and no locker. With ground disconnected the locker works fine. Switches still show up on screen and do not work. I am going to pull dash apart again when I get home and check it all again. I have pics but cannot get them from my phone, I guess its jealous of the attention the Jeep is getting.
