I have a KC 10” led light bar. I am running it off of Aux switch 1. It also comes with its own switch. Do I still need to use the KC switch when using the AUX switch?

The light doesn’t come on right now unless I have the KC switch in on position in addition to aux 1 flipped on?

More than likely, your wiring that came with the light has a relay built in it. You can remove all the wiring other than a ground from the light and the power wire (wire only) from the Aux switch wiring to the light.
The Aux switch system already incorporates a relay and fuse.

I wouldn't think you would need it. I'd either take it out or just leave it turned on; it's not getting power to it unless you use the Aux switch.

If you're using an Aux switch, all you need is the wiring from the light bar connector to the relay.

Cut the relay out, throw away their switch, forget their fuse holder and fuse.
When using the Aux switches everything is already protected in the circuit you're wiring to.

With the KC switch and relay wired in, the relay isn't seeing power until the KC switch is on.
When you drop the relay and KC switch from the circuit then the Aux switch will be powering the light.

Thanks - that worked. Much simpler to wire than with the relay, fuse and switch.
