I’m on my third auxiliary battery now. Every time it is nearly 100% humidity with heavy fog, my start/stop battery service indicator comes on, my battery voltage drops from usually 14.6-14.3 down to 13.5-13.9. High humidity isn't too common where I am, so trying to replicate anything further at the dealer is tough.
And when the aux battery gets tested, it fails and needs to be replaced.
What the heck is going on? Heavy rain, it’s fine, so there’s no leak. It’s the heavy condensation and humidity that kills them for me.
Any ideas?
