If you install the mopar AUX switch and take it to dealership to be flashed will they try and void any warranty you have as far as electrical goes? First time jeep owner and any advice or prior experience with this install would be appreciated.

For all the trouble the oem switches are to install and having to get a reflash or use an aftermarket tuner I would go aftermarket, much easier install and similar functionality. Check out the Voswitch JL300 it is sold on Amazon.

I said the same exact thing in another post and got blasted because it’s not OEM and just cheap aftermarket. The Voswitch has been awesome and love mine. Way better then OEM.

Most dealers would not give you warranty hassles over the AUX switch installation. You can do the flash yourself using a Tazer, Jscan, or AlfaOBD.

Just take your time and don't stab the harness like some have done and you'll be fine. I strongly suggest cutting the ball off the nipple above the harness passenger side and routing through there... requires battery tray removal but it can be done in 20 minutes with an electric 1/4" impact and 10mm socket. Benefit being it's completely isolated from the harness, easy to seal, and doesn't require any effort to get the harness to the outside like fishing through the grommet.

I also installed the MOPAR aux switches in mine, hardest part is getting the wires through the double-walled rubber grommet on the passenger firewall. If you're inside the cab in the passenger footwell, pass the new aux wires through the rubber grommet on the left side of the main harness going through the grommet. That main harness does a quick bend to the right (towards the passenger wheel) after it gets into the engine bay, and that is where people have accidentally stabbed into it and caused some wiring shorts which I can imagine isn't cheap to have the dealer replace.

My dealer charged me $70 to flash them to work and also flashed my LED fogs while they were in there (for those unaware if you had halogen light settings on the headlights/fogs and install LED's you may see some flicker once you're off the accelerator or at low idle, having them flash to LED fixes this flickering).

That's what you're looking at all said and done from the top. It can be stretched to fit a 10mm thick 4awg with a little grease (that's 6awg and my aux switch wires from my modified setup in that thread) so the little harness should be cake with either a length of wire or a coathanger.
I like that install option, gonna try it in the next day or two , One more question if you may know the answer? this kit says for jL is the wire under the dash that is pin 13 the same pin I would have to pull for 2021 gladiator ? just want to be sure so I dont screw it up. Thanks

I followed the instructions that came with it and it worked out fine. Should be the same between the two.

I had mine installed by my dealer after I bought the JT. No problems and my warranty is still ok because it was Mopar parts and a dealer install.

Ok guys i have another question about the AUX switch install got it all done but havent had it flashed yet, my question is are the little lights on the switches suppose to light with the other dash lights even though its not flashed yet? i dont want to take it to be flashed if my wiring is not correct or there is a problem with connections? i thought the lights would come on without flashing it? HELP PLEASE!

No, the backlit button lights will not work until it's flashed. But also double check all 5 fuses (especially the one near the battery) before taking it in.
