Not done the JT ball joints but I bought and have used a few times the H.F. ball joint press. With it I've done more than a few sets of ball joints and a lot of u-joints. If it was handy I'd pull it out for you a few pictures.

I got away with using a no name $50 kit from Amazon. Unless you are in the business of making money with it, no need for a expensive kit for the one off use. Probably made by the same Taiwan/China maker that Autozone and Advance rent out.
