I have the Enhanced rubi rails. Love them. Look good. Don’t hang down. And seem very beefy. Have used them as “sliders” yet but they seem like they would take a nice hit. I got them for $299 as well. I received the extreme terrain catalog and they were cheaper in the mag then online so I called in and they honored the price. PM me if you order them and don’t have the mag. I’ll give you what you need to know when you call.

That’s what I wanted to get but was told around a year back order (this was about 3 months ago, they’re back up on the site now).

Wish there was an OEM option. Went with the NFab but am not overly pleased with them. They’re fine for the price which is the around this Barricade set.

I ordered them over the weekend. They're supposed to be here soon.

Over the Labor Day weekend I bought the Barricuda rock sliders that work with the Rubicon rock rails. I got them in yesterday - they were heavier than I anticipated and the packaging was superb! I haven’t fully unpacked and inspected them yet; that’s my weekend task.

Just be careful with the bolts they come with. I snapped 1 with my 18v fuel Milwaukee impact gun.

Thanks for the heads up! I am planning on doing it the old fashion way: a ratchet and elbow grease.

Got mine today. Unboxed and looked at the brackets to see how things are going to work with the OEM sliders. It looks like all of the main brackets are going to marry up fine. I've only looked at the driver's side so far but it looks like the only pinch weld bracket that will work is the front one. The center and rear look like they'll be blocked by the existing sliders.

Reviewers on Extreme Terrain's website weren't very specific but some mentioned not using them at all. Once I get this fully installed I'll post pics and provide more details.

As an FYI, I don't plan on using these as steps for myself. I'm 6'4" and can get in without any issues. My wife is 5'4" and asked for something after getting in a few times. I've got some 35" tires coming so that extra inch or so in extra height will be a challenge without these "steps."

Has anyone installed them with the Jeep factory rock rails? I was thinking I could install the Barricade brackets over the factory rail brackets - but the factory rails have a lip that prevents solid contact. If I put the barricade mount under the Jeep factory mount it looks like the factory screw won’t be able to fit through the pinch seem holes properly (there isn’t much room for play)… Anyone have any pictures of the mounting brackets on their install?

Finished the install. To use the sliders with the Jeep factory rock rails you’ll have to put the Barricade mounts over the factory mounts. I was able to reuse all of the factory screws with the exception being the front body mounts. The Barricade front mounts don’t fit exactly over the factory mounts due to a lip along the factory mount’s edge - so I had to use a couple of washers to fill the void between the two mounts to ensure the Barricade mount sat flush with the top of the lip. The Barricade front pinch seam mounting bracket can be used during the install - the center and rear pinch seam mounts can’t be used due to the factory rock rail brackets. The most frustrating part of the install was properly aligning the Barricade rails while all mounting screws were semi-tightened. I found it easier to start tightening the rock rails down at the center mount, then the back and finally the front.
