I just chose a 2022 basic sport with hard top, tonneau cover and bed liner and it comes standard with 7"
It's a Sport, not Sport S so it appears that for 2022 the 7" is the standard radio

Indeed, my mistake was not ticking the 2022 slider

My 5" is basically decent. Occasionally laggy at startup but that's the exception and not major. But the clock does lose time like it's got a hole in it. This TSB when I look it up seems to list JL but not Gladiator (I know that they are basically the same esp. as far as radio and related wiring) - has anyone succeeded in getting a dealer to perform this TSB for a Gladiator? Thanks!

Good point, I had that done to my JL and haven't bothered with the clock in my JT yet.

Not true. 7 inch is now standard on basic sports too. I ordered a basic 22 sport back in November. I called the next day to change my order. They said they cancelled my first order and we started up a new one for a sport S. 6 weeks later, Jeep sent them the first one anyway. Its already sitting on the lot. It came with 7" standard.

the stock uconnect3 is terrible. It is really one of the biggest things I hated.

I upgraded to the Insane Audio JL3001 and I love it. I had a few back and forth issues with support but they got all the issues squared away.
