We've had problems with batteries in exactly 1 Jeep.
They were replaced 1 month before the basic 36 month warranty on the Jeep ran out.
Miles were roughly 13,000 as I remember.
So anyone good at math might see where I'm going with the next part -
Dealer replaced both, saying both tested bad, and fully covered things.
However, knowing the Jeep sat for days at a time, and when driven wasn't always driven for more than 25-30 miles per trip. So I was prepared for them to suggest they'd not fully cover things.

The world of automotive batteries has changed - a LOT. I'm so used to batteries lasting 6+ years even when not frequently used it's meaning some new habits. I've always put battery tenders on my infrequently driven cars, but these days, I'm being more diligent about it.

Good luck even under 3 years. Our 21 Mojave with 3 K just sat at the dealer for 42 days waiting for a warranty battery. We finally went and bought a new better battery just to get our truck back. They told us they had no idea when they would get on as they are on nationwide back order.

@sidedrifter - it’s the same situation around here. I ran into a group of Wranglers and JT’s owners on Memorial Day weekend. The 3 that own newer Jeeps all had either battery failures or hard to diagnose electrical issues soon after the factory warranty expired. Coincidence?… they didn’t believe so and were quite vocal about it, almost hostile to my surprise. Stellantis currently has an inventory glut of some models including the JT. That might suggest that there are growing concerns over reliability of its products. A company’s reputation can turn to sh*t faster than a ten-pack Taco Bell dinner complete with warm raisin pie for dessert. None of us ordered that off the menu. It might not be totally warranted but some owners feel that Stellantis is sh*tting the bed. Batteries are an easy clean up, Stellantis/Jeep needs to do better. No excuses.

The batteries suck if mine fails in the 3/36 I'll replace it with a real battery anyway

Not just Stellantis. It's batteries in general I've talked to others - NON-Jeep owners, who are complaining they can't get batteries to last over 4 years and the one guy was talking about business vehicles that are driven daily.
If you don't drive daily and drive at least a certain amount, batteries may last only 3 years and that's a lot of what's going on.
My son had the battery in his Fusion fail after about 3 years. That's a Ford product.

The "inventory glut" is nothing about "reliability". It's just how things are with some other auto makers as well. It's also in part a shift on the buying public.
The Wrangler 4xe is selling very well - check out how it's doing against other PHEVs. And yet - 4xe owners are complaining about........... yeah, 12 volt batteries.
The battery in my car was only 4 years old when it failed and I've never ever had any battery fail in less than 6 years up to that point. So is it just Stellantis? It was a NAPA battery.

Batteries have become a major issue just in general.

If that group had been ford people they'd have been bitchen about .......... batteries and failing paint and electrical issues. Hmmm.

I have to admit I may have some sort of unicorn OEM bats. 10k miles in 2 years.... drive once or twice a week.... batteries are fine...start stop triggers constantly when I stop...

I'm sure they'll fail tomorrow now that I typed this.

Yeah, like I jinxed myself with the no axle leak, no roof leak, and so on. Now I'm paranoid and keep looking under my truck and checking the rear window.

Mine doesn't get driven a lot but this 2022 consistently operates with much higher charging voltage than my 2020 did. But even the 2020 did ok once I charged each battery and reset the IBS.
When I traded it after 2 1/2 years and 27,000 miles it was still doing fine.
