Quick Question: Is there such a product to put down on the floor of the cab/bed area to protect the sprayed area? sort of like a cargo liner for the bed area? thanks!

you don’t need to necessarily protect the spray in bed liner - but you could if you wanted to with something from bedrug.com or a similar outdoor style carpet material.

Someone on here used horse stall mat. That’s thick rubber mat that comes in a variety of thicknesses and you can cut it. Tractor Supply or similar carries it.

I had a rubber bedmat that I pulled out of my ZR2 and threw in on top of the sprayed on liner.

Just to clarify, you want a bed liner to protect the bed liner?
I mean when you say it like that… LOL

listen I am someone that likes to protect my investment

I get that it’s a bedliner spray protector but I’d also like to keep it that way - I’m just thinking of like some sort of a thin lining or liner

Spray in bed liner does a good job of protecting the surface finish that they destroy to make the spray in bed liner stick.

What spray in bed liner does not do, is significantly increase the coefficient of friction between the item in the bed and the bed itself to any meaningful degree.

I put a rubber mat in everything that is going to haul anything meaningful/heavy/hard. If you're going to haul bags of mulch, dog food, charcoal or golf clubs a rubber mat is not necessary.

It sounds redundant to have a bed mat over a spray in bed liner, but I have done that on most of my other trucks in the past and liked having a rubber bed mat on top.

OK, I think you're overthinking it but I also get it.

Weathertech is a good one to consider but also, go check out BedRug. I had that in my old F150 and I'll be damn if it wasn't great. It's especially good if you plan to put an tonneau cover on the bed because it give it the look of a car trunk. It's made from a material that can be pressure washed and doesn't react to chemical spills. Really quality stuff IMO.

But you totally deserved to be picked on for this.. ;)

If you really wanted some additional protection you could find out when Weathertech will be coming out with their bedliner.

Here’s one for a Tacoma to get you an idea of what it’s like...

https://www.weathertech.com/toyota/...d-tailgate-protection/tacoma-box/60-3-inches/
The technical term for the surface of those is "slickernshit".

Put something heavy in the bed, stand on the brakes once, and it's coming at you at a rate consistent with the speed you were traveling when you decided to stop.

Still needs a rubber mat, and loads secured
