I have a factory bedliner that covers the cover for that large square opening in bed for the power outlets option. I want to remove it for some custom work in its place. Are there screws holding it in place? Is it plastic? How should I approach to remove it?
Assuming you mean the spray-in factory bedliner........

It's a plastic piece that snaps into the square hole in the bed wall. You need to carefully slice the bedliner layer around the cover and in my case, I reached up between the bed fender and the inside bed wall, found the clips on that cover and carefully worked them loose and pushed the plate into the bed from under the truck reaching up.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

It works for most fridges and charging batteries. The output is limited to 400 watts total. I have not used the bed outlet much, but the Trail Rails are nice to have. I use the interior outlet for a travel fridge. I plug the battery pack into the outlet, and plug the fridge into the battery pack. The fridge stays on all the time, and the battery pack charges when the engine is running.
what battery pack?

Most any of the portable power boxes will work. The one I use came from Home Depot because I needed it on short notice. Amazon has a huge selection of them.

So if I have the inverter in behind dash panel. What is the chance of adding the plug only in bed. There a plate there and I haven’t thought about it till I read this post.

Contact @AllMoparParts.com
They sell a kit for around $300 that will let you add the bed outlet if you have the factory installed inverter and interior outlet on the back of the center console. It does require dismantling a lot of the dashboard to install the on/off switch for the bed outlet.

So, I am adding the OEM kit to my '24. I got the easy bed parts done. Now it's time for the switch. I'm only seeing walkthrough instructions for people withe '23s and older that require the new left panel to be replaced. I'm hoping since mine came with that already. That there is an easier way to swap the switch without all the dash disassembly. Anyone know of a way?

I'm even slightly considering basically drilling out the stock plug. Ever so carefully. As it doesn't appear like I could slide in anything in the seem to push on the locking tabs. Pretty snug fit.

Agree ... Video walkthroughs I've found have all been for pre-2024 models. Watching
