Do you know the model number for the legs you got? Also how tall are the legs you have in the pictures? I am wondering if they have any taller legs that will let the BAK X4s roll all the way back.
Have you figured out model number for legs? Lucky I ordered X4s and found this thread!

I've been trying to find a 1/2 rack that works with a tonneau cover.

I get that. That bolt is probably rated for more than the rack though.
Add RTT, Tools and 4 adults. I don't trust it to hold weight.

YIKES! I mean, I'm not engineer, but that looks really sus. If that small amount of steel can manage that WHOLE LOAD at all angles and whatnot, why the hell are the racks themselves so stout.

Something tells me thats not adequate for a static load, let alone for a dynamic one.

I wouldn’t worry about the bolt, even grade 5 stuff is strong. Don’t have the charts on me at the moment. I am not sure what is used, but I would think the whole setup would be engineer approved. I can agree that the two angles bolted together looks a little scary. Again, I am not sure what material is being used though. Maybe they can chime in. @Max Modular

Kinda my thoughts.
