Pushing limits off-road is fine, and can be fun, but....... we all know there were a number of "General Lee" cars........... and YT is full of videos of consequences of having fun.I applaud the guy for using his rig ... but I get sense he might be running with (or mimicking the behavior of) the CBI / Tacoma Beast crowd ... who IMO like to push the limits of their rigs.
Earlier I posted a video of the guy "jumping" his SX4.
Here's a video of the result - what these fools didn't see - I'd have to double-check for sure, do a comparison, but it seems to me that his lower control arms have more of a "bow" or V to them than they should. Normally it's a gentle sweeping curve. I am guessing they missed half the damage....
But at least they were mostly honest - and expected damage.
Why you'd do that to a car others would pay thousands of dollars for I have no clue - but there are people searching hard for these cars and these clowns destroy one? The rear bumper ends on these cars easily sell for $300 each, the fronts can demand 100+
- if they hate the car, part it out. Otherwise, sell it and get a few grand.
