Best way to add shackles to the OEM Steel Bumper?

Hi, I just ordered a JTR with the factory winch steel bumper. I'm not a fan of the open hooks. Is there a good way to add shackles to this bumper? I saw the Maximus ones that tie into the winch plate but I'm not a fan of the hoops hanging down low in front of the truck. Any other products or ideas? Thanks!

I’m having the same dilemma. I want to complete the order today and at this point, I think I will go with the cheap bumper and remove it and stash it upstairs next to my other stock, unused sport bumper because I can’t seem to mentally be able to throw away a new bumper.

Need the maximus winch plate and do some cutting

But at $140 for the loops and $240 for the plate + like $4-500 for selling off your stock one, you could easily just get an after market bumper and more or less break even. Plus then you don't need to cut the bumper and ruin it's resale on the forum.

You can buy the Warn "low" grill guard to accomplish that. The bars will block off the open part of the hooks. People complain about that, but, I like it. I only use soft shackles anyway.

I would like some type of spring clips similar to this for the front and rear OEM tow hooks, even if you had to drill into the bumpers to mount. I don't like that the shackles or straps can fall out before a pull load is applied to them.
