Looking to purchase at least one of these, I'll start on my JT and if I like it enough might add one to my JL as well. That said, for those that have these (and / or seen them) is there really a significant difference between the top fabrics? I live in New Hampshire so I honestly expect to remove it either way come November and put it back on in April. To much snow/ice to contend with as I don't have a garage.

Also any discount codes are always welcome @Bestop :)

I can only say I've been very happy with the twill....and it's only a little more so why not? But I've never compared the two. Hell I've never even seen the other one before. Seems everyone goes with twill.

I researched as much as I could on the two fabrics before buying mine. For me, it's definitely worth the extra money for the twill.

Entering my 5th season with a pair of sunrider tops. Both twill. It wears well.

I have the twill and love it, as someone else said, I don't think I've ever seen the vinyl. I also have a Softopper in twill and wanted the two of them to match. If you're that undecided just reach out and they'll send you free fabric samples. Once I had the samples in hand, it was a no brainer to go with the twill.

and the twill sunrider is actually quiter than the hardtop...

I've had the twill Sunrider now for almost 5 years, year-around and parked outdoors, I have had
no issues to date, it doesn't get washed very often either. Ice and heavy snow have been my
main concerns but to date never had a problem, just get out and clear it ASAP.

How easy is it to remove the sunrider and put the solid panels back in?
(and then reverse the process again later?)

Once installed actually pretty simple to remove then re install pretty easy. My Wrangler is in a garage and we leave it on all winter and its fine rain or snow! My Gladiator is outside and I remove for winter, I do it in case a lot of snow, don't wanna be scraping snow off! Coulda left it on this winter, damn!! LOL

Go Jeep!!!

I bought the cheaper fabric have and coated it with 'Chemical Guy's Convertible Top Protectant Spray' every spring and it has held up just fine. Buddy got the more expensive one and ours look the same. I see no difference. I also added the hot head liner for it. Mine is 5 years old now...looks and acts brand new.

Have had a twill one on our JK almost 10yrs now. Jeep now offers it as an option, and they only offer the twill one, and for the record, ordering it with a new Jeep was cheaper than I could buy it new anywhere else. I'm in NH too, and no garage. Mount Washington Valley, we average about 7-8ft each winter, and I've never removed the Sunrider. Treat it like you would a soft top or a soft tonneau cover. Try not to let the snow get really heavy, and don't use anything hard to clear it off.
Fortunately most of our snow is light and fluffy, and even a foot is not a big deal.

There's my concern, sometimes our snow can be blown away with a leaf blower, or with a broom, other times it's so heavy it breaks trees and plugs all snow removal equipment it's so heavy.
