So I tried to build this once on a TJ while impoverished and fighting the VA.

Fast forward to November when sheer acts of belligerence, bullying and daily/hourly calls to offices lead to a C&P win.

This is Betsy, my new JT Diesel Rubicon.

Many many many projects in the pipeline.

As of 12/7 she's now been down in service for a PCM and while there some night mechanic cut the fence at the dealer and blessed me with a DPF'less high performance exhaust.

Dirty Acres Grill insert has been modified to use a larger hole insert for the 392 engine. It should be printed today

Well Betsy is still down at the shop until atleast tomorrow. So I paid her a visit and installed my Rugged Ridge Multiplex Cb Mount, QuakeLED HD antenna, Rear Seat Service Dog Zipline, quadratech CB Mount, Bearcat 980 SSB cb, bulletpoint dash mount, Jeep branded CB speaker.

Also mocked up my dirty acres grill insert.

Productive day.


P.S. I highly recommend Dirty Acres and QuakeLED, their quality is stellar and customer service went way above and beyond for me

I always hate to see retired members get the shaft trying to get sorted out at VA (US), VA (cdn)....it has taken me a while to get things sorted out for me, so I feel your pain and am glad your sorted. Nice rig, love the side graphics, camo for grill not so much (not a camo person) but hey if you like it I would never judge. Each persons taste is just that, their taste, best of luck with the rest of your build. looks good so far.

@FshnRdnJpnAB, how are the foothills treating you? Sorry us BC folks sent the snow your way.

From on veteran to another, thank you for your service. It always seems our most difficult struggle or fight comes when we have to take care of ourselves. Both my Jeeps, a former JLUR and now my JTRD, have been an integral part of my recovery and bringing some peace. Very nice build you have going on and I’m really digging the graphics.

Not my style, but if that's what makes you happy/satified...great! I mean we did fight for...":don't tread on me", I ain';t treading ...I'm following....and in several months maybe my tastes will change and I will envy you as the trend setter.
