I'm in Central Texas and have been very happy with my Cooper Discoverer ATP II's 275/7r18 on my daily driver Overland. I liked the stock Overland 18" wheels and these tires ride really quiet. Size wise they work out to little over a 33" tire. I average around 18mpg with a mix of 50/50 highway city driving. I've towed with them no issue and I've had no issues on any trails or rocks.

I did use JScan after they were installed to recalibrate the speedo.

I’m running 35s on mine and I can def feel how underpowered the ride becomes. I’ve gotten around 18+mpg but then again I baby the throttle and live in a flat state.

I'm running 315/70/17 (35s) BFG KO2s on my Overland. Living in Florida, it has not been an issue at all. Just average around 17.5 mpg City/Highway combined.

Thank you for the feedback! I actually am in Texas. So it's super flat lol. I don't do any mountain or hill driving. I don't tow anything either. My truck is my daily driver, so I just wanted to keep performance and MPG in mind while also going for a better look.
I take it your rig is a gas model? I run 37's on my diesel Rubicon (diesel Rubi only come with 3.73 gears) with absolutely no issues and can even tow my 3600 lbs trailer up in the mountains in Colorado and Wyoming

Idk I ran 37 KO2s with 3.73s for almost 2 years on my sport gasser and it never really bothered me. I live in the SF Bay Area so mostly flat, but mountain trips 1-2 times a month could be a bit of a pain when pulling our 6,000 lb trailer. City mpg was around 14 and highway could get 18-19 on calm days. I ā€œupgradedā€ to 4.88 a few weeks ago and don’t notice much difference day-to-day. Imo if it’s a lightweight, road friendly tire 35s are easy and 37s are acceptable.

I went from 285/70 (33's) to 285/75 (34's) on my 3.73's and think it drives just fine. Still getting 18 to 19 mpg average "town" driving. Similar hunting between 7th and 8th on the highway. Would definitely go with the 34's again. It's a pretty balanced look with a 1.5" leveling kit

I just put 35s on my rubicon and I would not want those with 3.73 axles.
I’m curious who is the manufacturer of these rims? What is the offset?

I have a stock Overland 2021 JT. Tires and wheel sizes are 255/70R18 all terrain. I can't stand the way they look lol. However, I don't have the money for a big lift, and regearing. The stock on the Overlands is the 3.73 axel ratio. So, simple answers are needed please :) What's the biggest size I can go without altering the stock parts? I've read that some people go to 35's but have issues with the gears and MPG plummets even more. So I'm leaning maybe toward 33's? I would love some input and feedback from you guys that know much more than I do. TIA!
Keeping cheap in mind I’m assuming you are sticking with your 18ā€ wheels. So you’d be looking at a 285/65x18. All tires I’ve found in this size are E rated tires that go on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. Way too much tire especially with the relatively shallow sidewall. Not to mention you’re only gaining 1/2 inch total tire height and 1/4 vehicle height. Unless your original tires are worn out I’d save the $1500 until you need new tires.

Thanks for posting this. I love the look. I have the same gladiator with a 1.5 in leveling kit and have been scouring the internet for pics of gladiators with 34’s. I recently put Bushwacker flat fender flares on and just want to make sure I have clearance and to see if 34s would get lost in the wheel well if I put a 2 inch lift on in the future. Thanks again!
