ha ha haOk I am going to be the one to ask. Where you hauling a box spring when this occured?
I looked everywhere for what could have done it. My truck bed is covered. I’m still curious as to how the glass was all pushed forward. Not trying to be a wise-butt, but it sounds like something from the outside hit it. Check your interior and bed for something that may have struck it.
Not this guy. LolOk I am going to be the one to ask. Where you hauling a box spring when this occured?
The cab is a low pressure zone while driving at highway speeds relative to the air around the vehicle so it makes sense it'd be sucked forwardsI looked everywhere for what could have done it. My truck bed is covered. I’m still curious as to how the glass was all pushed forward.

Happened to me years ago. Driving down a state highway (45 mph) when girlfriend yelled “sh@t” and then the passenger window exploded followed by a whole slew of obscenities about the little MFer. Pulled over. She was covered in glass but told me she saw the “little punk” pointing his pellet gun at us. Circled back but he was long gone. But never underestimate the stupidity of a 12 year old boy with a new pellet rifle...

My parents had this happen to a glass fireplace panel (gas fireplace). Middle of summer, 20 year old house. no fire going, BOOM. Glass everywhere.I had a tempered glass coffee table explode. This was inside our house in the family room and no one was touching it when it blew. Small glass crumbles flew in every direction, some over 10 ft. away. I Googled the phenomenon and found a video on Youtube caught by a surveillance camera of a similar explosion. Nobody was even in the room when that table exploded. Other Google hits explained it is caused by impurities in the glass when manufactured and if so, it's just a matter of time until it explodes. Most cases happen to tempered glass on outdoor furniture that sees great temperature swings. Not at all the case with mine.![]()
