Money aside, in 3 years will you be happy or will you wish you had the Gladiator you really wanted or be totgood with the one that you got cheaper? That is a question for you and you only. There is not much on the Mojave that you can't add your self, but it still want be a Mojave. Just be honest with yourself and you will find that answer.

Drive them all and pick the one you like. No sense in saving $10k because you will end up regretting it and then have to purchase the entire vehicle over again. I ordered a Rubicon because it’s what I wanted even though I could’ve saved going with a Willys.

Talk dirty to them and see which ones talk back, then buy the one that runs the best.

I drove both a Mojave and a Rubicon. To me, the Rubicon was the better truck.

For me to completely happy with the Mojave would have required adding the Rubicon bits to it.

You got to get what you want, not what a bunch of internet forum guys say to get. Drive a bunch, determine what options you want from the factory and then find a deal. Don't be afraid to travel and play dealer vs dealer. There are enough dealers that will deal over the 10% incentives being offered so you should be able to make a deal in the Gladiator that will make you truly happy.

I ended up buying from a dealer 200 miles away to get the one I wanted with the deal that worked the best for me.

Everyone is going to have a different opinion. If you go based on a test drive alone most would take the Mojave. Y gotta ask yourself how you will use I and if your gonna upgrade it what would it look like.
Also can you do the upgrades yourself? If not the cost could be more than a Mojave to get it where you want it. If you can do it yourself you’ll save some cash.

Just bought my Rubicon in August and I really love driving it. Rides great. I probably would have bought a Mojave, but I bought off of the lot and had to accept what the dealer ordered. No steel bumper or LED light package on the Mojave was a showstopper for me, otherwise it was a great jeep.
There are some very good incentives right now. I bought from Kent @ Peterson’s in Nampa, ID and feel like I got a very good deal. I think they have 30 some Gladiators on their lot.
