I've been using the Amazon one you linked above with no issues. I replace mine every June & December. I don't follow the mileage rule. I just go by "seasons". The December change gets rid of all the summer leaves and trail dust, while the June change gets rid of the musty/wet winter smells. That's at least my rationale :)

I remember the little doors that opened by your feet. First open of the summer flooded the car with every thing collected over the winter.

I haven’t bought one for the Gladdy yet… I’ve only owned it for year. Time to start shopping! Thanks for the kick in the ass…..

For my 2016 Canyon - I’d replace them once a year. I’m not loyal to any given brand. I’d shop on Amazon and usually buy whatever was cheaper & had good reviews. Otherwise, I’m not sure i’d even notice any difference. 🤷‍♀️
I’d purchased Fram brand most often.

I’m looking at these two….… $9.30 each for 3 pak is sounding better…. and with good reviews. Although, If I don’t like it (for whatever reason), I’m kinda stuck with it.

Still looking…and will watch this thread.

I get whatever is cheapest. I change mine at least every oil change if not sooner. The engine filter always looks new but the cabin filter is always filthy. Lost of dust here. I’ve also found that anything different than a standard filter will slow the air flow. Not fun in summer heat when you want max a/c
Good point on the airflow!

A cabin filter is nice but it won't make any difference other than the dust inside the cabin. I have changed mine a few times. It's always dirty doing its job. I just ordered 3 from the Rock.

I had these in my JK. Haven’t decided if I want to spend the money again. I might

yea...I saw those... I see its 'treated' with something.... Do you know what its treated with?
Tell me it's not 'oil' .... I'd love a washable filter but I don't want to treat it with anything after cleaning it. I have an AFE Pro-dry for my engine. I could probably use the same 'cleaner' to clean the cabin filter.

I'd have to own the truck for 6 years to get my money's worth (since regular filters are $10 a piece).

Just replaced it. Took literally 5 minutes.
