The only L&N filter in my JT. I do need to clean it I'm sure.

I use Wix cabin and engine air filters. They have the Mopar part numbers printed on them and are pretty reasonably priced.

From day one, mine had an annoying high pitch sound on fan speed 2. Finally gave a non charcoal filter a try and the noise is gone. Them charcoal filters are quite restrictive.

2 piece K&N is what I use. Can't complain about its' function and only pay once.

I know its treated with something…. After you clean it, what are you treating it with (or what are you spraying on it)?

Not going to chime in on brand, everyone has their personal favorite.

But open the box and look at the filter BEFORE you even pay for it.
Since I retired I picked up PT work as a delivery driver for a national auto parts store, ALWAYS check filters before you pay for them. You'd be surprised at how many filters are damaged.

K&N has a treatment you use. Spray bottle. Should last for quite a few cleanings.

What is it?? Is it oil?
I wished AFE made a Pro-dry version Cabin Filter.

Thanks…

It looks like the treatment is a *Freshener* - which, you don’t need to use unless you want to.

I have an AFE ProDry engine air filter and AFE cleanser. I’m sure I could use that same cleaner to clean the K&N cabin filter. I’m not sure its worth $60 when I can buy regular filters for $10 and replace it once a year.

That will be up for you to decide. If I live in the states I probably would just stick with paper cabin air filter, they are cheap. Unfortunately I live in a very small country and there is only one dealership for Jeep in the whole country. The monopoly allows them to charge 40 bucks for one oil filter.
That makes perfect sense….
I’m guessing you can’t order from Amazon and/or online sites ……being international…. it’s probably not any cheaper or better than going to your dealership.

I hope your Gladdy stays ‘issue free’ - sounds like you’d have a major headache trying to get anything fixed or replaced.

I bought a K&N reusable one way back in 2019 when I bought mine. I've always been happy with it and at $40, it's paid for itself twice so far.

The K n N restricts airflow the most. I just got the cheap O ones at Rock Auto.
