I have not replaced the one in the Gladiator yet, but I do prefer the filters that have activated charcoal in them.

I know its treated with something…. After you clean it, what are you treating it with (or what are you spraying on it)?2 piece K&N is what I use. Can't complain about its' function and only pay once.

That makes perfect sense….That will be up for you to decide. If I live in the states I probably would just stick with paper cabin air filter, they are cheap. Unfortunately I live in a very small country and there is only one dealership for Jeep in the whole country. The monopoly allows them to charge 40 bucks for one oil filter.
