Nice trailer!!!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that has the door on the driver’s side. Very cool.

It's a Mirage SideXSide edition. It's sold/designed to haul a SxS, if that wasn't obvious by the name.
It's also extra tall compared to the regular 7x12 7k version.
The side door is so when you load your SxS you can easily slip out the man door. Most SxS at the time, 2015 had no doors, or suicide doors. Pull the SxS in forward and you could easily get out.
Now that I have shelves built into the front, I load the SxS backwards and have to slip out the ramp.
The other down side to a driverside door is, when camping in designated spots, the door is exiting towards your neighbors spot, if you have to back in like alot of camping spots.
If it was just a toy hauler, I wouldn't really care which side the door is on. But if your gonna use it as a camper very much, I'd want the door on the passenger side. If your having one built, I guess you could do both.
I added the windows and have thought about adding a door to the other side. Then again, I'm also thinking about getting a bigger trailer and starting over. My wife wants a 4 seat SxS and they don't fit in this trailer.

Otherwise it has worked out pretty good for our needs at this time.

The 4th, ran up to Michigan on Friday from Coastal VA and stayed until Monday... wet weekend started about 10 minutes after getting setup, we stayed at the Port Huron KOA. Not a bad place, just entirely way to many people.

Pretty simple topper setup, camping with my 2 young boys at a local state park. DAC tent for the topper and a Slumberjack Roadhouse tarp. I cut a foam mattress to fit the truck bed floor, and made an east-west bunk that fits a standard crib mattress. The 3 of us can sleep in there pretty comfortably, 1 in the bunk and 2 below.

The dark blue tent that attaches to the shell is the DAC tent, a separate product from the shell manufacturer. I got it through Softopper, because they include support poles to work with a canvas top which has no solid window to support the tent. I don't need the poles since I have the window, but I find they give a little better support than just relying on the air struts, and add slightly more volume.

Been camping religiously with this setup, we are hikers and this helps us get out there and hit more farther out trails instead of packing the big tent
