Installing a Clayton 1.5" leveling kit. Upper control arms, new front springs, new adj sway bar links, and track bar. Looking to get 2" out of it so may have to add a 1/2" or 3/4" spacer in the front. Going to add a 1" spacer in the rear to take out some rake. Also have new Fox 2.0 1-1.5" shocks.

Truck is daily driver. Can some of the work be completed in stages. Looking over the install, nothing looks super daunting but I know just from installing a spacer kit on my daughers JL it can get time consuming. Rather than try to tackle it all at once I'm wondering if I could do it in stages. Like, could I replace the upper control arms first and drive it for a couple of days, then if have time, tackle the springs and sway bar links. Then another time the track bar and shocks. Wouldn't be going off road until its all complete but also don't want to have it partially completed and it's undriveable.

Not an expert, but you should be able to install the control arms, track bars, end links whenever and keep them at factory lengths. Then once you get to the springs that change ride height you’ll just need to adjust all of the aforementioned to recenter axel, sway bar angle and caster.

I'd actually save the control arms for last so you don't have to adjust lengths. As long as you are staying on road and out of 4wd you can for sure do this in stages. It won't take as long as you think though, the rears are the worst to get out, but if you have a coil compressor you can realistically do front in a day, followed by rear the next day.

It would be a bit less of a headache to tackle at least all the stuff on each axle at the same time. Loosening the control arm bolts helps to drop the axles down enough to get the springs out without a spring compressor, so might as well install the arms after the springs so you're not torqueing all the bolts just to take them back off in a few days.

If you're installing a leveling kit and front spacers you shouldn't need to add a rear spacer to address rake. If you add a rear spacer it will give you more rake.

Thanks for the replies. Right now I have a 1" spacer up front and nothing in the rear and truck looks almost level. Want to get 2" up front, so may have to add a small spacer on the springs then figured if I add 1" in the rear I will have the same stance as now but 1" higher all around.
