Can the radio be reprogrammed?

Can a Tazer of Jscan or other programmer change the radio settings? (23 Sport base, uconnect 4 with 7" display). I just want to keep the radio from turning on by itself as soon as the vehicle is started, I want it to default to bluetooth and have silence until the BT device connects.

You will have to go through the head unit Settings options and see what it offers. If you want silence at startup, you may have to select a USB option.

Mine already does that. I don't know if that is a setting but my JT defaults to whatever was playing when I turned the ignition off. If my Bluetooth was on It just waits until the BT is reconnected.
Mine is a 22 Sport with the 8.4 display. Don't know if that is special, or not.

Mine switches to BT as soon as I start it. BUT, sometimes I need to reboot my phone to get it to connect first. I have the 8.4 screen in my 2022 JT.

Not mine, it goes straight to radio no matter what was playing before, then I have to go through the menus, media-select source-Bluetooth, etc., to get it back to the phone.

I have the mid level radio (not the small one or the one with built in nav) and I always connect to android auto for nav and music. When I start, it defaults to radio but I plug in my phone and Android auto automatically loads and continues playing my spotify.
