I’ve looked online for full reset so I can try that first but nothing will reset the radio.
Apple CarPlay barely works maybe 20% of the time but won’t stay working for more than 10 minutes. I get device not supported a lot, hands free won’t work if it’s plugged in only Bluetooth, voice recognition won’t work if plugged in only Bluetooth.

Did you try turning off bluetooth and then plugging in? Carplay does not need bluetooth so run that as a check to see if it helps.

With voice part, make sure you hold down voice button on steering and say something like “Siri, send message”, wait for beeps and things after her response. It runs different than when you are on bluetooth for your voice commands.

Describe what hands free issues you are having.

I’ll try it but no other car I’ve had has to turn Bluetooth off when you plug in your phone.

Not sure if this will work as you are stating you are having Bluetooth issues as well. If you have an iPhone 12 or newer that came with usb c to lightning, you will need to use a usb to usb c adapter for the outlet if using the center console. I was having this same issue but after using the adapter and switching cables, I haven’t had any issues.

Bluetooth works fine, only once I plug in it fucks up, like getting a text and having it read it to me, it’s locks up or it’ll read the text but lock up if I try n reply.

Try the adapter if you haven’t already. They aren’t too expensive and solved my issue. Anytime I would make a call or use navigation, it would disconnect. It probably wouldn’t stay connected for more than 5-10 minutes without disconnecting and I would just unplug and plug back in.

Have you tried a different cable? Some phones are very picky about the quality of the cable being used. A dirty or damaged connector on the phone will cause issues.
