Hey guys,
Been a bit. 2021 Gladiator, love it. Not a ton of miles (9kish). Taking one of the kiddos off to Urgent Care I jumped on the highway and got on it a bit; not floored but close to it. It's a fairly gnarly merge so a quick pace is important.
Anyway- Can't tell you what gear the auto was in, but it seemed to let the RPMs wind up quite a bit before kicking up. As the 6 banger's yelling away, DING, CEL comes on. I was busy trying to avoid getting wiped by oncoming traffic but I think it was a few flashes. When I looked back down probably less than 10 seconds later it was gone.
I don't have a scan tool and I am not sure I need one, and if I do need one, I'm wondering the code gets caught in these sorts of transient situations.
Guess I really want to know if it's a semi-normal (well not normal) transient sort of thing or if I should be taking further action.
Thanks for your thoughts, hope all is well.
