Yes it does and it's extremely easy to defeated too. It only take seconds to pull that panel off and see the t-harness. Hint: you can locate those same wires under driverseat carpet.Doesn't this kill switch harness require access to the back of the start button?

I was hoping accessing the back of the start button was as easy as depicted in the above YouTube video. If so, then the hard part of a kill switch install would be hiding the wire leads and hiding the kill switch.
I know there is another ignition immobilizer option out there that doesn't require any wiring, Mobilistics I think?
Idk, I'd like to install some form of ignition immobilizer, I'm just a little apprehensive about removing any dash panels on a vehicle I just bought in January.
Good luck on 2024+Yes it does and it's extremely easy to defeated too. It only take seconds to pull that panel off and see the t-harness. Hint: you can locate those same wires under driverseat carpet.

I original made one that looks factory with factory wires and wrapped in harness tape and all of that, but it can easily be seen from underneath with the knee panel removed. I had abandoned that route and went a step further without using a phycical switch.Sure if you make it obvious. I purchase a pre-made harness same color wires, connector, wrapped in harness tape. The original connector is pulled into the depths of the front panel then back wrapped to the switch interface.
Yes it can be defeated but not as easy as you make it.
Layers of defense,is all we can do.
I say put the kill in to inhibit the start/stop you'll be glad you did.
