I think he screwed up and programmed it into an eco diesel. I’d maybe double check.

My F150 is currently set to 5 blinks. A friend did it with some kind of programmer.

And since it is set to 5, it blinks 7 times if a trailer is hooked up.

It’s not like people let you over anyway, blinker or not. I got flipped off the other day when a lane was ending and I put on my signal way ahead of time.

The other night there was a serious accident (we believe hit & run; 2 cars on the shoulder w/ Sheriffs and then 1/2 mile down the highway an intersection covered by Sheriffs and a damaged vehicle; rollback already came and left).

Coming to the intersection, with at least 4 Sheriff vehicles, one at each street with lights on, at night, the two lanes get shrunk to one because of the collision.

Guess what asshat in a Chevy Sonic doesn't do? Let the guy who's been signaling for the past 300+ feet as we've been crawling at 1mph to move over into the only lane that can get through.

It peaked my interest when a dash warning light came on about low winker fluid.

Reached out to Z Automotive with the ask:

After talking with a number of JL and JT owners, I was encouraged to reach out and ask about modifying the number of blinks for the lane change, or "winker", function. Currently, the JL and JT default to 3 blinks, but we'd like to increase that to 5 or 6.

The thought was that this could be achieved via the Tazer live functions, where it maintains the signal from the turn stalk a little longer when it detects it being triggered. Is there any chance of something like this being in a future update?

Just added that to feature requests. Not sure if that's doable with the Tazer, but there's a decent chance, so the engineer will take a look and figure it out.

Hopefully they can figure it out, however I'm about to toss my Tazer in the trash. It's constantly losing live settings memory. It was once every few months, now it takes less than a week. Reached out to them, they said to reload it, it didn't help.
