Just looked at the Ride Right and the biggest difference is the lack of shocks. If money wasn't an option, I would run the Clayton but I don't think I would ever "need" all adjustability of the Clayton. I think the AEV is enough but wanted more input.
You can get Bilstein 5100 shocks for about $350 for all 4. That’s what comes with the AEV kit, though they do have AEV’s tune so they’re not standard 5100s. You could probably buy these through AEV with a little markup over the $350 price.

I have the 2.5” Clayton Ride Right with standard Bilstein 5100s on mine. With the suspension and the shocks, I spent a little less than what I’m seeing the AEV DualSport kit listed for.

I’ve had the AEV RT kit with standard springs on mine for over a year and love it! Was running 35s but just upgraded to 37s last week. All summer long I tow our ski boat and it does great. The boat is heavy, guessing 6000ish all loaded up. I like towing with the AEV kit more then the factory rubicon suspension. The AEV kit is stuffer suspension tuning so it feels more planted and controlled to me then factory. Daily drive mine and love the ride. I don’t know if I’d get the heavy springs unless you have a topper or your running around full time with overland gear. All around it’s a great kit. Easy to install and I liked that it try’s to maintain factory geometry and bushings.

I’m late to the party but I 100 percent agree. I’ve been running the aev dualsport for a little over a year with the ARE Hd and rtt full time. The lift operates as advertised. I couldn’t stand the body roll on the MOPAR lift. I have the HD springs sitting in the garage but honestly think they’ll be an overkill.

I went with a 3.5" Rough Country lift, and dig it. Was going to go with the Mopar, but had difficulty finding it in stock at the time, and the RC price was less than 1/2, with a higher lift. Some people don't like them, but I have had 2 of their kits in a row, and zero issues thus far. Customer service is always great too. I don't do any serious crawling, so this suits my trail and off road needs. If I were out west, I'd probably splurge. Ride quality is also better than my stock Rubicon set up was. I know that doesn't address your question about the two kits you are looking at, but I wanted to throw it out there as a pretty cost effective option. I was able to easily tuck in 37" K02s with this kit.

OP,

With the intent to still tow and lift, both the Aev and Clayton kits will help. Clayton will cost more due to still having to purchase shocks on top of the kit. AEV comes with shocks. Both kits are designed to carry fully loaded weights. Both will flex well if that’s your thing, but I would say the Aev might… have the advantage for day to day activities and be a more install and forget it lift. Clayton does have way more points of adjustment at each control arm. Aev is designed to be oem plus, an improvement over stock without constant attention.

What's your flat out honest review of this set up?

I’m pretty happy with it. Arms and track bars are quality pieces. Sway bar links are a little clanky like heim joints usually are. I will probably replace them with something that I don’t hear with the windows down/top off. Coils are doing what they should, not much to say about those.

The Bilstein 5100s ride pretty good. They can be a little firm at times on our crappy Michigan roads. Overall I think they are good for the price.

I have 10k mikes on the lift. Not really much time to tell yet. Based on so far, I wouldn’t change it if I were to do it over.

+1 — very happy with my Mopar 2" lift
Me too, and I run some pretty high stair steps and waterfalls in NM some as high as Moabs. It’s often the nut behind the wheel.

I have yet to see a TSB or repair manual for that, though..... some things just can't be fixed, I guess.
