This trail was a blast! It's a long day and you're gonna feel like you're tipping over half the time. That's bad enough without the cliffs!

We started out by ourselves but ran into a group of Jeeps on the trail. Followed them up to the top so we could see lines that others took.

These Gladiators can make it through a lot.

The vid is a bit longer than I normally do on my strictly amateur channel. I just couldn't bring myself to cut out any more of the obstacles though.

Kudos man! I’ve mountain biked a lot of that trail with Hymasa and Captain Ahab trails there and always thought it would be super tough except for side by sides

I would have loved to mountain bike that in my twenties. Might need an electric assist now! 😂

Great video! I don't know if that was your wife or what but she seemed fun. To me that always makes that kinda stuff even better.
"Might as well order two fenders..." Lol
Great stuff.
Question: Was the gate locked or what? :)
Also don't worry about making videos that are too long. It's great content!

Thanks! That was my wife. Cliff Hanger stressed her out a bit but she was still laughing and having a great time! I'm a lucky man.

The gate was a cow gate as it turns out. It was unlocked. On our way up it was open and we didn't even notice it. My heart sank when I saw that closed gate! I thought I must have taken a wrong turn and we would now need to back up and try to get turned around!

@Rummie, thank you for taking us along for the ride. I've done Cliff Hanger many times in side by sides in the past and know all the obstacles you showed very well. The are a lot tougher in person. Your JT did awesome.

This is on of my favorite trails as it keeps you in the action the whole way out and back.

Well done.

Going back down somehow seemed worse to me but it was likely the camera angle showing it better. There were a few places (like 8:15) that really surprised me. The truck just seems so long for stuff like that. Of course, a 2 door Wrangler would probably feel long going over that! Please keep 'em coming!

I agree! Videos never make an obstacle seem as difficult as it is in person. I always know when I watch someone else's video that if it looks tough in the vid that it is five times worse in real life!

The JT definitely takes more hits on the rear end. My rear bumper took a couple of hard hits as evidenced by the photo below! For the damaged fender I just decided to add a trail sticker to it and leave it as is. :CWL:

That's the spirit! I've had mine two weeks so am a long ways from not worrying about scratches and such. The day will come though!

Great video! We were out there for EJS with 6 Jeeps, including my brother's Gladiator. It was the hill climbing champ, for sure! Everyone with or near us was impressed with what the JT can do! He runs a Mopar lift and 35's. It ate up everything we threw at it.
