Trying to get stuck last weekend but didn’t. Cost me a tire though. Cut the inner sidewall on passenger rear. New tires and wheels hopefully tomorrow. These tires are thrashed anyway.

I'm finding your photos / adventures to be pretty interesting. Especially some of the mod choices. For example, the rear lower control arm mount skids - makes sense - that's super low hanging fruit of course, but the steering stabilizer still in the stock location. I drug mine lightly on a rock in Merus (Texas) on a relatively mild trail.

I see the diff cover protection, as well.

I am working on some small mods on mine in preparation for a trip to Utah. No crazy trails - but I'm addressing some of the literal low hanging fruit on a basically stock truck.

If the diff clears, the stabilizer will clear. I pick my lines carefully knowing that it’s there. If I ever destroy it then I’ll think about moving it. Rear diff and LCA’s get hit often, so those were first to get protection. If I hit something two or three times it’s time for me to do something about it. I don’t do any serious rock crawling anymore, just easy, moderate, and mild difficult trails.

Makes sense.

I have pretty tame stuff selected (a 4 or below by Red Rock Wheelers guide, anyway).

Always nice to see how another stock-ish owner is looking at things.

I have a couple months to consider my last couple of mods before I go.

I’ve done a few 6 trails but try to keep it 5 or below.

I may have to get a trial for Trails Offroad and see how i like it. Looks quality, but not much use to me save for the one week a year I get out west.

Edit: I am thinking of Fun Treks. Trails Offroad looks to be more expansive. Might be something to look at, then...
