Ok- a lot of folks here trust their dealers…. I don’t. ??‍♂

Made it to the parts department a couple min before closing and like an idiot I red the stand out 10 year 150k and didn’t pay attention to the part numbers….
Which is the “correct” spec for the 3.0 ecodiesel.

Second- anyone savvy enough to know what the difference between the two? Old number new number?
Google has given a lot of conflicting information….

Now that's a bit confusing. I did a lot of research on it before I did my block heater earlier this year, and all information pointed to MS.90032 being the correct coolant, in concentrated form. That's their internal standard, and diluting it gives it a different number, I thought. I thought that different number was the MS.12106 but I could be mistaken, as that doesn't jive with you having a 50/50 mix with MS.90032 on it, which I didn't know existed.

As for a difference, I don't think there is one. The part number on the bottom left of the label on each bottle you have is the same. Maybe there's a change of color between the two. Current MS.90032 OAT coolant is purple.

IIRC they upgraded the standard (which should be the MS90032) which the old number also fell into.
What I DON'T understand is they should have changed the part number (68163849AB) because of the standard change.

So, you basically have 2 gallons of the same thing by the part number, one showing the old standard and one showing the new standard.

Yes, that is enough to make you go Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.....

??? too funny.
You know the only thing I’m really stuck on is how old is this other container… I’m sure I’m not over the “10 year” window- and really I’m sure that the mileage and age rating is for when it’s in use- and Not sitting on the shelf… ??‍♂

So unless I missed it, you didn't actually say which one the dealership gave you and where you got the other one. Just curious.

MS.90032 is the current one. That much I'm positive about. I'd run that. In fact when I picked mine up, they were unloading it from the truck. I'd also suspect the 12106 is just new old stock but it does give me pause. If that's the one the dealership gave you maybe it's worth taking it back and asking for some MS.90032.

Of course they might just treat you like an idiot, laughing as they dump the wrong oil into a customer's Jeep.

I don't trust the dealerships either. I do my own oil changes ('22 JTRD) and my buddy has been taking his (also '22 JTRD) to the dealership for oil changes. He brought it over to my house last week and it was smoking, visibly from under the hood. Oil cap was cross threaded. I mean, come on.

The Ram 2nd EcoDiesel (2014 - 2019) and Ram 3rd gen EcoDiesel (2020 - 2023) uses the pink colored 12106 coolant. I was surprised to see the purple coolant in my 2023 Jeep Gladiator EcoDiesel. I like to keep coolant on hand, so I'll by a gallon of the 90032.

By the way, the 12106 coolant in the Ram EcoDiesels doesn't last the full 10 years/150,000 miles. The pH falls out of spec pretty quickly.
