How big of a problem is it if you added slightly to much coolant? Should I just leave it or is there a way of draining a little out? Is there a overfill line from the coolant bottle that will drain some out if when it gets warmed up will level it out?

It’ll probably overflow a bit once it gets good and hot, if you really overfilled it. No big deal. Slightly too much, probably don’t need to bother removing any

Just make sure you don't use that baster for your Christmas turkey. Unless you want to be able to sleep in -25 degrees without freezing.

How much did the OP put in? How far up is it filled? Enquiring minds what to know.

I would just leave it. If it's too much, it will boil off or leak out the overflow. I would not want to contaminate the new bottle of coolant by putting any back in it. Anything you pull is toxic waste, what are you going to do with it?

At least it was coolant......not windshield washer fluid or brake fluid.
