Corrosion Warranty?

Does Jeep have any kind of corrosion warranty on their vehicles? I have a '21 Willys that I bought used. Now has about 46,000 on it. I noticed yesterday that I have a hard bubble on the passenger side edge of the hood under the first L of the Willys decal. I'm assuming it's rust starting to form under it. Just curious to know if Jeep would do anything about it.

Look it over really well. You might also find bubbles on the hinges, doors, tailgate, and windshield frame.

Funny you mentioned that...

Took it to the dealer to get it looked at. To start with, he checked the date and it happens to be 10/20. I took it there on 10/1.... Five years to the month. He checked out the spot on the hood and said that's definitely a spot that needs fixed. Then he saw the passenger side lower hinge has a lot of lines on it that I didn't even notice. So he took pictures and said he'd do what he could to get it taken care of. Was hoping to hear from him today but no call. I'll be calling them tomorrow to see what the situation is.

Most of the time you end up with new parts, not repairs.......... good luck.

theres a nice facebook page with ALL the info you need for the corrosion problem they have and all the TSB availible ..... Usually from the TSB , if its on/ in the seam of a pannel they have to change them. color blending included paid by dodge , cavity wax , seam seal ALL over the seam , not half like the OG one . Paint UNDER the hinges in the TSB and the new gasket need to be put ...... ! look up the fb page all the info are there if you dont have it here

Got it back today after they had it for exactly a week. I didn't get a chance to talk to the actual painter so I'm not sure if they painted the whole hood or just the area that had the bubble. Reason I think they might have done the entire hood is because they charged for both Willys decals and the bubbled area was just under the passenger side decal. The quote from the dealer totaled $1,335. I do know that they replaced the hinge. Either way, looks like new now and glad they covered it.

That's funny is right! You have a 2021 that you bought in 2020 I'm guessing. I have a 2020 that I got in Dec 2020. I believe they go by the in service date for warranty purposes, I hope. My local dealer has submitted my warranty request two weeks ago. I may need to check on it and get the request in writing.
