Wasn't there something about Jeep using gorilla glass for their windshields? Thought it was stronger because of this.

There is a Gorilla Glass upgrade for JKs it's not out for the JL yet.

Just like wranglers, going to have issues. Got a massive crack out of nowhere, don't see a rock chip. Dealer says backorder till August and not under warranty. $600 plus install

This is what I like to see!! At a minimum, Jeep is going to dig into this issue and work with the owner.

Makes me all giddy inside to be a Jeep owner!

In addition to my comment about Jeep cares I will add that when I ordered my rubicon jk hard rock I noticed my console lid didn’t have the stitching . They stepped up for me

1. Get used to it. I'm about to put the 3rd windshield on my JLU.
2. Isn't the Gladiator's windshield the exact same thing as the Wrangler's? How does the dealer figure it's on backorder. I checked with mine last week and I could replace my JLU's windshield tomorrow if I want.
3. If you can wait for the Gorilla Glass version, then keep waiting.

Also, just a reminder to everyone, if you get a chip on your windshield, get a piece of clear tape and cover it immediately. Chips become cracks because water gets in there and expands as it gets heated by the sun. My wife's JLU has three chips but none have become cracks yet because of the tape.

Called 2 dealers and on back order on quadratrec it says preorder so they don’t have either. Mine has acoustic and all the nanny features which maybe why

Probably right but what a bummer...….windshield should not crack on a new vehicle.
