Hi all

I’ve had a super nagging creaking noise coming from my truck for the past few weeks.
The noise is happening when I slow down to a stop at low speed, when the body of the Jeep is moving (on an angle slope) again slowly or when I’m reversing into a parking stall and crank the wheel decently well.
Among all this I’ve had someone sit underneath and near the front suspension telling me they are consistently hearing the noise coming from directly under the passenger seat in the frame area.
I’ve checked all the front end suspension and all seems well.
I’ll post of few videos of the noise 1. When coming to a stop 2. When the body is on an angle in my underground

let me know if anyone has experienced this or knows where to start

Search the forum, someone recently had a similar issue and the dealer ended up replacing either the body mount or the motor mount.

Sounds like it’s getting way worse. Sounds more like a pop now.

Any update?

I have the same exact sound and it now also sounds as if it's coming from more that one spot. I have checked all torques specs of every bolt underneath to no avail. It's driving me crazy!
I cannot recreate the sound while still. Tried bouncing the suspensions from every corner and all I hear is gasoline sloshing.

Do you have any suspension mods (if so what) or are you stock?

I am going with body mount bushing.

im on a 3.5” teraflex lift
I had some warranty work done by my installer and had them torque all of the suspension components.

I haven’t played with the idea of the bm bushing though. I have heard of this issue more than once.

Dealer went through it and told me its coming from my lift so they dont wanna touch it.
They retorqued the ball joint castle nut (which i had done 2 months ago) and told me to go to my installer.
My right rear shock (falcon) is leaking so im having it replaced under warranty, so ill have them look through it when im in.
Asked the dealer to look at the body mount bushings but i doubt they did.

I have the same noise. I can reproduce it without driving by pressing the brake and turning the steering wheel slowly. No brake, no noise. Did you ever find a solution?

I did!
Took it to another dealer for a second opinion and the tech did a much more thorough sweep this this time around.
We found that the area where the tie rod links to the passenger knuckle is producing a hard click. He was able to tighten it and make it go away temporarily but he said it will come loose again since there is a one time nut there.
he ended up just ordering me a brand new knuckle and tie rod end.
It should be in this month so I’ll post an update once it’s been complete.
