I can't find it again but, I saw a very funny meme.

The pic on the left was that of a Bronco.

On the right was a picture with a Toyota FJ Cruiser facing a Wrangler.

The caption under the Toyota and Wrangler was, "Dayum...let's keep that wild night of passion we had to ourselves and don't tell anybody...maybe they won't figure it out!!!"

Or something like that but, you get the picture

Personally I think they nailed the design, I like that it's not a Wrangler "me-too" clone. I'll take the Jeep hood visibility though when off-road or grocery-gettin'. Ford got creative with an IFS in a way I hope others take notice for the next gen 4x4s (looking at you Toyota). That manual with a crawl gear is also ? if it was in the Sasquatch. I'm mainly a Jeep guy but like to see the creativity and alternates. When the Bronco came out I bet some Chevy prod designer was crying in their beer over what they've done to the Blazer.

I don’t hate it. That being said, I don’t get the Bronco vs. Gladiator comparison that’s frequently thrown around here. Wouldn’t it be more relevant to compare it to a four door Wrangler?
I considered a Bronco when buying my Gladiator because they both cost about the same.

I get that from a person comparing two complete different vehicles standpoint. My other two top contenders were a Toyota 4Runner and a Subaru Outback Wilderness.

What I’m getting at is that…in the context of most discussions relating to those two vehicles on this forum…it’s an apples to orange comparison, but folks talk about them as if they have more in common than four whees and four wheel drive.

It makes about as much sense from a comparison point of view as if I started a thread here and asked: “Jeep Gladiator vs. Subaru Outback: What are your thoughts?” Four wheels and four wheel drive is about it.

Tons of people cross shop the wrangler and gladiator, not everyone NEEDS a truck some times its just a want. Those same folks may cross shop the wrangler, gladiator, and bronco.

"The fact that Wrangler sales are still going quite strong despite the Bronco's introduction also refutes the notion that "every Bronco on the road is one fewer Wrangler," a common sentiment at the height of that Ford's hype cycle. Case in point: the 99,497 Wranglers that Jeep has sold so far this year only represents a 16 percent drop from last year, when the Bronco wasn't nearly as available. Looking at Wrangler sales in 2021 versus 2020, the numbers stayed pretty much the same."

Would have to assume most of them purchased will never see trails, rock or anything outside of the pavement or the mall or the local grocery store same to a large portion of jeeps. Got to see a 2 door as a friend of mine is wanting to buy one and was with him looking at a few and I like it although it seems the inside feels a bit cheap to me anyway. But I do like some of the things they did and wish Jeep would have put a little more thought into where switches, buttons, mirrors, etc are located

I voted Meh because it needs some things ironed out. The soft-top is awful. Why would you make it like that when you already have a model to imitate? The sagging windows just look like an after thought and the way you have to lift up the rear!? It looks like they were determined to make it different even if it was worse!
The interior is massive disappointment and you can't get the better Infotainment unless you get a top model. Also, the sound is terrible!
Then there is the steering! It is so week it can't even handle the tires it comes with!
Also, the dealers are, with few exceptions, idiots. If you make a 4x4 vehicle, and advertise it racing around off road, you shouldn't tell your customers that you aren't going to cover it under warranty because the skid plates are scratched.

They had the opportunity to create a killer vehicle but they just got bored and didn't finish it.

Jeep and Jeep dealers do the same thing.

I’m sorry but this is one of the ugliest things I’ve ever seen. It looks like a little RC car.

Was really considering ordering a Bronco a while back but obviously ended up going with the JT. Now that I’ve seen several Broncos out and about, I’ve come to find them less and less attractive. I’ve seen several different models, some modded ones, etc. They just look kind of cheap to me in person, almost like a toy look. They look less rugged than I was expecting too. I don’t hate them or anything, though. Anyone else feel similarly? Referring to full size Bronco, not Sport.
I feel exactly the same. It’s hard to beat the classic jeep look.

Such a waste of time and development in my own opinion. They should have at least made it a wide body and not 12 inch mud flap flares lol
