A tow strap got caught under my wheel and when I backed up it tightened and left a folded dent in the bed. What’s the easiest way to get behind the outer panel to pop this out?

Thanks in advance!

I can second the paint-less dent repair guys, those dudes can be straight up magicians when it comes to sheet metal. Had them pull three different dent's around the truck for $250, including one particularly nasty one just below the filler neck that my own brother gave me that I though would be non-repairable. I can't even see where it was.

It will cost you about $500 because it's such a large dent, but that's about the same as the deductible on most insurance companies, but you'll avoid the rate increases. Hell, you might even avoid the black mark on the car-fax.

You can try it yourself. Harbor Freight has a dent puller. I used it to pull a couple of dents out of a couple of motorcycle gas tanks over the years. It uses a hot glue gun and has its own glue sticks.

Another vote of having a professional PDR person do the work. There is a science to the process. You can try it yourself but run the risk of stretching the dent and having a "oil can" effect.

I did the same thing in the worst place.

Sometimes being a nice courteous guy doesn't pay.

Before/After.

A good body guy can fix that with pulling tools.

Do yourself a favor, go with a professional PDR service if you want it done right. I did the hot glue kit on a door dent few months back, it made it a bit better but you can definitely see it is still there.

I disagree with all of the advice above... time to bob that bed and turn your rig into a rock crawler! HAHAHA!

If that's not in the plans... it looks like the paint isn't cracked yet so, a good PDR guy should be able to make it right again.
