Custom Steering wheel & HVAC trim panels

I am working on a unique project to create custom textured interior panels. I started with the steering wheel and HVAC trim because I wanted something different. I installed a plain orange steering wheel trim on my Stingray JT and will either install textured white or orange on my White JT. The white photos are shown installed on a JLU Sahara (my brother's Jeep), which is also white.

While this has been a personally driven project, I am considering offering these through @Threedom, but I am afraid the price point will be out of reach. No one wants to know what I have invested in mine. Of course, the texture possibilities are unlimited.

So I am just sharing my build and getting a sense of potential interest from others. As far as price goes, I couldn't say at this point, the parts are definitely not going to be available at Chinese prices.

I assume you are fabricating using 3D printing. How do these compare with OEM in terms of structure?

We're using industrial 3D printing, in this case, powder bed fusion. The parts are isotropic and equivalently structural to what you'd get from injection molding.

I've often wondered how the blue would look in mine. My wife loves the blue rings on the knobs but I think part of the appeal is that they aren't solid blue, it's more of a translucent effect on the aluminum.
I'm not a fan of the texture or color of the radio bezel they use. I've often wondered what was up with that.
Is is supposed to be fake alligator belly hide or something? Maybe water moccasin hide or some other snake skin?
Anyway, to me that texture and color sticks out like crazy, seems out of place next to the smooth texture elsewhere.

They are full replacements using the same hardware and mounting as the factory panels

These are really slick. The satin plastic finish never looks good, shows fingerprints or dust no matter what I do to it.. interested in these for sure!

I'm interested. In my case I'm looking for Hydro blue of my exterior. How close do you think you could get to that colors, I understand it wouldn't be a metallic finish? Would some sort of color chip / chuck of a scrap part be possible for evaluation of color? Ideally texture too, but that really isn't all that important, pics work well enough for that.

To clarify: I'm interested in the steering wheel, and AC surrounds. Essentially any of the parts except the dash panels that are already red on the Rubicons.

I wouldn't let you pay me to put that in my Jeep. LOL

That's just me though.
I like subtle and muted.
The factory accents on my Mojave are just the right amount for my tastes.

That said, there's definitely a market out there.
