I will be getting these and wondering if it's better to have them come on with the inside bed light when a door is opened or on a aux switch? Not sure what to do with the yellow light yet, turn sig or marker.

I have my markers come on with the turn signal.

The lights are bright, I could see it getting annoying if they were connected to anything but a manual switch.

Agreed. I use the amber for blinkers, white for off road only, connected to an six switch. I love them.

Same. The white lights are pretty darn bright - although they could use a little more oomph. But I dont think having them turn on when opening the door or using bed lights would be valuable. They are a great ditch light or to help see sharp switchback turns at night. A great option instead of the standard A pillar mount with ditch light.

Who would have thought it would be so hard to find and tap into the turn signals wire.

I've read through the entire thread but think I've confused myself more. I am not much more than an electrical novice, but I did just finish installing the Mopar aux switch on my own and it went pretty smoothly.

Wondering whether these can be wired up in such a way to not only act as intended; yellow blinker and white via aux switch, but also yellow marker lights when blinker is not activated and white lights on when truck is unlocked (think puddle lights)?

On having the yellow marker always on and also flash when the blinker is actived is something I wanted to do for a while. Tried recently with a 5pin relay + capacitor + diode, on my test bench it worked fine, when connected to the Jeep it did not. I still don't know how to do it, please share if you ever find a solution. My knowledge is limited on this matter.
