I couldn't find anything similar in a quick search here so I hope this is new.

I've had my 2022 JT (a rare manual transmission) for over a year now and have found it dead 3 mornings over the past 9 months or so. I found it dead again this morning. These last 2 times I had noticed a light seemed to be on from the dash console even after it just sat off for up to a day. I mentioned this to the tech at the dealer last time and they found it was actually a bad battery and replaced for free, but it happened again this morning on that new battery from just 2 months ago. Last time I tried to pull the dash fuse to stop the current flow, but I must not have gotten everything.

I figure this is some bug in the electrical system, but what could cause the dash to be lighting up long after the truck has sat off? Is there some switch I could get to ensure the dash and system really is off?

Have you had the doors off?
Any mods that affected the electrical system?

Have the dealer test both batteries again. The other one may need replaced.

Hey Mr. Bill. No I haven't been quite adventurous enough to take off the doors yet, plus it rains here too much. Nope no mods either, it is stock. I have noticed it is always wet outside or raining when I find it dead as well, but could be coincidence

Dealer replaced both batteries just after the new year. I specifically asked them to check the console electrical for a drain this time or a bad switch or something

I wanted to throw this update out there in case anyone else has this problem. I ended up asking the dealer about this and they had me bring it in and actually found one similar instance in Arkansas. They had to do a 9-hr test of some sort to trace the electrical system and found 3 parts that needed replaced, including the start/stop button module, another module, and some connector. After these replacements, they did the 9-hr test again and found no issues.

The dash console screen has stayed off now after turning off the JT as well so I hope it is finished. If anyone has this problem in the future feel free to sent me a message and I can give you more details.
