With so many threads this has probably been answered before so I apologize in advance.
Over the last few weeks my Jeep has had a worsening shimmying/wobbling when going over even the most minor bumps over appx 10pm h. I went under to inspect and to make sure everything is torqued then noticed both my front shocks are busted, grease coming down both.
28,000 miles
I don’t beat on it, no crazy off-roading.
Only changes I made:
Leveled the front
Lower control arms from mopars kit
MT Baja a/t 35x10
This set up has worked well for me. Insanely enough the dealer doesn’t have shocks in stock and neither do others in the area. Told me it may be two weeks out. That nonsense aside my fear is that they won’t cover it d/t those minor changes. I want a paper trail for down the road should other comments take a crap.
So my question is just how stringent are dealerships with warranties and aftermarket parts as minor as mine? I just don’t want them looking for a loophole not to honor warranty. Thanks in advance everyone.
