when I de-badged the first thing my Dad said "well how is everyone going to know it's a Jeep?" (obviously kidding, I grew up in his '66 cj5)

de-badge everything you'll love it. Don't give an F about the tailgate holes, they're tiny and barely noticeable.

I love my Mojave. Much better than my sport. Mine will not see any off road, but the Mojave came with every option I wanted.
Different forks different strokes...

Did it a month ago, only regret is I didn’t do it soon enough. Will eventually do the same to the tailgate but that requires body work to get rid of the holes.
Nuts, I was thinking the other day that I'd like to lose the tailgate logo. That's outside my skill set, so I guess it stays.

It’s a true shame, there’s a company that sells little pieces to fill the holes but it doesn’t look finished in my opinion.
Everyone knows it’s a Jeep, everyone knows it’s a raptor, everyone knows it’s a ram, no need for the MASSIVE letters on the tailgate of all these trucks.

the holes are quite small and hardly noticeable any more. Just have the fishing line, eraser wheel and a lot of patience.

I think I will just hold off. If the tailgate ever gets damaged and needs paint work I can have a body shop fill the holes.

This is 100% in the "juice isn't worth the squeeze" category. I'd rather have the logo than strange asymmetric holes.

Do you have a link to the company that sells the hole plugs?

Are you wanting it to look like a base model sport ? Rubicon is on there for a reason. I have never understood taking all the stuff off. Is the object to convince Jeep to quit making different models ?
My Jeep is pretty far from stock, I have a lift w/ control arms, steering, 38s on beadlocks, larger rock rails, a bumper and winch amongst other smaller items. I roll into tech inspection at a Jeep Jamboree and the guy looks at my JT and says "oh, its just a Gladiator." Meaning I would be limited to the trails I could go on.

I smirked and let him know it is indeed a Rubicon, it just doesn't have the stickers on the hood. For many Jeep and specifically JT enthusiasts there are two much more obvious ways of identifying the Rubicon models, such as the hood and highline fenders. Many people add rubi rock rails and wheels, and the Mojave has highline fenders but a different hood/cowl. Even though there are ways to ID each model without a sticker it doesn't really matter because Jeeps may be the most customized vehicle ever made.

All of this to say, to each their own. The sticker doesn't make the truck.

I did it because I know what it is and what it can do, it’s got the red dash, and rubicon on the seats. That’s enough for anyone who cares about what I’m driving.

I don’t like the massive branding on cars these days. It used to be simple, badge up front, model/ badge on the rear and that’s it.

Did this to my JKUR a few years back and seriously considering doing the same to my JTR. Show some pics so I’ll get motivated. I just worry about fading since mine is a 21

I vote take it off.

Not the same but, my freedom had huge star on the hood and passengers side rear.

Those were off the day it got home. They were horribl.

What’s work?
Jeep can still make all kinds of trim, equipment levels, and it would show in the VIN.

Meanwhile, you have to show me and other Jeepers with giant letters that you paid more for that stuff? I show you I don't need all that "stuff" by purchasing a Sport S. Does all the things I ask of it. Suits me just fine and shows I am smart enough to purchase just what I need not what I need for show.

How many Rubi's and Mojave never see dirt and are just for show? I refused to buy the stocked higher models at the dealership, I ordered. Oh, how they pushed the higher models, no thank you. Did the 1941 Jeep have all that fancy stuff...not. Did the Willy's have all that stuff...not.
You can’t stuff like that here, the driveway art posse will show up at your house with pitchforks.
