The 0 offset Methods is what you want. I have them with 37s and 2 inch Mopar lift. No rub at full stuff and lock to lock.

Buying the rims has becoming a clusterf@#k. I had the rims shipped to my work address because no one was home to receive them at that time. Somehow the house number got changed. Should be 570. On the shipping label for the rims. It was 370. 370 is a cow pasture. I got my 5 rims back on the 6th. Now for the lug nuts and the TPMS's. FedX lost the shipment. It was addressed to 370. Called @Discount Tire. They corrected the address. They sent out another shipment of lug nuts and TPMS's. The first shipment showed last Friday, after it was found. It looked a bomb had gone off, and they tried to hide the fact. Missing is the socket for the spline lug nuts, and 3 TPMS's. The replacement shipment is a split order. One TPMS in one shipment. The lug nuts and 4 TMPS's in the second shipment. The one TPMS showed up today. The other shipment was to show up today too. It's in FedX hell right now. WTF.

Now this really gets me by the balls. Tried fitting the new TPMS in the new rim. It don't fit. It won't tighten up. Screwed the barrel nut down and it bottoms out on a shoulder. Leaving about an 1/8" gap. So it's loose, flopping around.:mad:
Measured the TPMS. it's .250" between the seats. The rim thickness at the hole is .169". So there is a .081" difference.

I'm about ready to ship everything back.

I love my old methods. till i bent em. tire survived, bead and wheel did not. ouchy my pocket. after that i've been doing poor man beadlocks ever since. If i smash it, quick hop on FB and get a used one locally.
This is exactly why I run steelies LOL. If they can't be hammered back into place, they're $100 a pop.

If they weren't so heavy and anti wheel spacer. I'd do the same thing. Can't beat a Steelie simplicity

I'm rocking the Pro Comp 97 Crawlers with 4.25BS, they weigh 32 lbs each. On 37x12.50R17 Falken AT4W HDs that are 78 lbs a piece. So in total about 110lbs a tire for HD 37s on steelies. The stock Rubicon rims weigh 27 lbs... I'm not fussed over 5 lbs per wheel. These allow me to do trail repairs and they're dirt cheap, plus the old school look is awesome in my opinion!

I try to be as weight conscious as possible in areas it makes sense, all balances out in the end.

damn thats impressive. I'm 10 lbs lighter a corner with my 37s. But i have a Mojave so weight is a bit more of a concern. especially since i prefer to do the fast stuff.

For another comparison... I just looked up the Method 70x series rims for the Gladiators. They are 30lbs and $100 vs $300+ and unrepairable, so really you're only a few pounds difference between alum/steel on average.

100% agree on the Mojave stuff! This Gladiator is being built out for overlanding, so it's going to have a ton of weight on it either way. I'm not fussed about 3lbs a rim at this time haha.

yeah i like my camping but i'm ditching the big CVT and steel rack. I had em on my last truck and didn't realize it was going to kill the Mojave handling. It does alright but not amazing. I'm bout to for over for a Carbon Tent 80lbs, Yakima adjustable aluminum rack 50lbs, and a ultralight awning. Hoping to see a hug difference from an 80lb rack, 130lb tent.

I reckon the Mojave suspension is really weight-sensitive, so you should see a pretty big difference. I know the Rubicon comes with insanely soft suspension and any weight just makes it drive so much different.

I have a stock rubi. I need to swap out the FOX shocks (they suck). She's the family rig/tow rig for our NOBO. I may go the steelie and 35s route with her. maybe some 4.88 to keep the towing good.

Can't recommend the Pro Comp Crawlers enough... if you dig the look, they're great rims. All of them required almost no weight to balance and man they were cheap. I got all 5 on sale for under $600 CAD ($430 USD).

Could had the new rims installed by now. But thanks to FedX losing the lug nuts and TPMS sensors. I'm still in limbo. Called @Discount Tire . They were a big help. They sent out another order of lug nuts and sensors. The day I called. FedX delivered the first order at 5pm. Looked like the plastic bag was opened and resealed. Missing from it was 3 sensors and the socket for the spline drive lug nuts. The second order from @Discount Tire showed up the other day. It has a different style of TPMS senor. Got 4 of those, plus one of the other style. So I got 4 with the rubber valve stem, and 3 with the barrel nut.

Big thank you to Ty, Lynn, and a really big thank you to Joe @Discount Tire.

Bottom picture.
Couldn't figure out what was going on with the sensors with the barrel nut. Screw the nut down to tighten up in the rim. Seem like the nut was bottoming out on the shoulder where the black seal is sitting. Pencil pointing to it. The torque is only 35 in lbs on it. I ended up putting a bit more muscle into it. And got the nut over the black seal. That worked. But it was more than 35 in lbs. It seems that the seal is a one time deal. Once tighten up. It keeps the barrel nut from backing off. In the bottom picture. You can see the top sensor seal is untouched. The bottom sensor had the barrel nut removed. It don't look good.

Jumping in late, but the Quadratec line is a great value and look great. I just switched from the Hardrock to the Morphic in black. 17x8.5, 5.2 bs. Pretty tucked in and keep the Jeep factory styling vibe. $220 a wheel before forum discounts. I’ve had them on two Jeeps.
