I have a Decked drawer system. I bought it at Home Deport when they were having a 20% off sale. They carry accessories for the system too.

Considering how few decked systems I see on people's rigs here, the number I see for sale is... alarming to say the least.

I just really can't imagine many use cases for a decked gladiator that a wrangler couldn't do better. It turns a huge amount of storage space into a teeny tiny amount of storage space and I just don't understand the point.

The decked system works for me. My gladiator is used to pick up stuff at Lowe's (building supply), take trash to the dump, and towed behind my camper for vacation. The drawers hold my off-road recovery equipment plus other odds and ends. My wife has been less happy with the decked system. She occasionally likes to go places with 3 other ladies, and they run out of storage pretty fast. Of course, if they had a big van, they would fill that up too.

Why was the post moved to lighting post? This has nothing to do with lighting.

Buddy has the decked system on his Raptor, I was impressed and he liked it but eventually sold it.

I think I’d buy one but only if I ran a cap on the bed as well due to the lack of extra space.

My wife and I have discussed putting a cap on out Gladiator. It would multiply the usefulness of the vehicle. Her big complaint (and the truck is hers) has been that she needs a place for luggage on trip with 3 or 4 people.

I briefly considered the deck system, but it would only leave something like 6" of bed depth on top of it. I ended up going with a tonneau cover so I'd have the full depth of the bed to tuck stuff away.
