While I do see wisdom in that answer, I would also like to know. Do 35s work on a Rubi without a lift full lock and articulation?
i ddi find out those tires are too wide for stock rims apparently? but the lift / articulation question remains

Your best bet on fitment to stock rims is go tot the tire manufactures website and see what their recommendation is. I found Discount Tire has tires listed for 7.5" to 11.5" rims. Go to the tire site and they are 8.5 - 11"

ok so now even that piece of info is wrong.

the nitto 35 fit on the stock rims with no issues?

the nitto 35s perform without problems on stock rubicon > unknown?
DEFINITIVE ANSWER - YES TO ALL YOUR QUESTIONS!

It will fit, no issues on stock Rubicon wheels and stock Rubicon suspension.

However, I am saying this in the nicest way possible since you're new here - a simple search in the search bar on the forums would have given you the answer you needed. This has been discussed many, many, many times.

respectfully disagree.
if you search lots of theads will come up, all with conficting info. and i did search first.

some threads say you need spacers.
other threads say you will have articulation problems
other threads say the 7.5 inch rims are not recommended - too narrow, you need at least 8.5 inch wheels.

so i called 2 dealers (before I posted), and got more conflicting info.

so if the implication was i was too lazy to make an effort and just wrote out the question because I am lazy, well, I disagree.

It can work but no dealer or tire shop will recommend it because it’s out of tolerance for the factory specs. You already seem to know the answer. No one here can give you a definite answer. Just their experience, which a ton of people have posted and said it’s working fine for them.

I just had 37" Ridge Grapplers put on stock Rubicon wheels (2" Mopar lift). For most driving the tires work great, I do get slight rubbing when cranking the steering all the way. I haven't been able to wheel on them yet. I will manage the rub by not taking sharp turns when I can avoid it; this is temporary until I have time to adjust/fix the rubbing.

Hey @Sal, awesome photos! Your truck is on a 2” lift in those pictures right?

I’m still trying to figure this out. While I think it has been answered that several people have successfully mounted 35’s and even 37’s on stock rubicon rims.

I were to buy today I was planning on the General Grabber A/TX 35x12.5x17 as they seem to be a tru 35” and have great reviews. Most 35” tires by other manufacturers appear to be closer to 34.5”...

Sorry to bring this up again but I’m still trying to find any evidence that someone has tested 35” tires (stock or aftermarket rims) and wheeled hard to test rubbing at full articulation in an otherwise stock rubicon with no lift. Has this been answered and I’m missing it?

It is confusing and one of those things you don’t want to spend the money on without being sure.

That white Rubi above appears to have a lift or at least spacers.
