I know there are tons of threads on this and I think ive read through just about all of them but I'd like to hear from people that have some different kits about some particulars.
Things that I want out of a lift kit:
1. - good on-road ride (of course). I am impressed with how soft my 22 Rubicon rides. I wouldnt mind a little more firmness and control but I dont want to "stiffen up" the ride necessarily
2. - keep most of the factory rake. This is a work truck so I tow frequently and haul shit in the bed so I dont want a kit that completely levels the truck
3. - height. Ive read that some people get closer to 4" up front out of a 2.5" kit. I want to run 37s but dont need any additional height. It will be primarily on pavement. I have a linked YJ on 40s for wheeling.
Will the Mopar 2" kit fit my needs as long as I get aftermarket trackbars?
Will the Clayton 2.5" Ride Right keep me at 2.5" of lift? Does it come with a pillow block for the driveshaft or does it even need it? Are the Fox 2.0s a solid option to go with it without going crazy on backordered deisel specific Falcons?
How about the AEV spacer kit with geometry brackets? I have run Bilstein 5100s on my YJ before the ORIs and on my Duramax but dont know how the valving is for a JT.
Throw some personal experiences at me fellas ?
