Has anyone had dents removed from behind the rear doors? It's hard to get the light right to see, but I have 3 or 4 dents. 2 are along the door where it almost looks like a dark line and one more below. I want to get them fixed, but access it looking tough in that area. Anyone have dents successfully removed there? If it's gonna be tough (and therefore expensive), then I might just go with MC armor that covers up to about that area and keep it from happening again. Not sure if it was trail damage or what.

I would get in touch with a PDR (paintless dent removal) person and see what they think.
Yeah I'll get by and get a pro opinion when I can. Was just curious if anyone had any fixed there. I don't want access holes drilled. If that's the only way in, I'll drill and install armor instead.

Yes, I had one about 6 inches higher on that panel, and the repair involved a very small access hole that was plugged.

Just pulled a door ding to same panel. Have a glue type dent puller kit. That panel pulls easy. You need the light bending panel to see your progress.
Likely won't be your only dent, so save money, learn to DYI.

I have a 2020 and I have two dents at the same height but between the front and rear doors. I had a 1992 Trans Am that I parked next to my Jeep. I have rubber door edge guards on all the cars at my house. I had the door RESTING against the Jeep and dented it. I'm betting that's a door ding.

REAL PDR is a true skill, to be certain!! Those guys are just freakin' magicians.

But I've had limited success by purchasing some cheap (around $150) PDR tools from Amazon and futzing with dents myself. I haven't reached the point of "like it never happened" such as you see the pros do in the YouTube videos, but the results I've gotten bring a real sense of accomplishment. And while it's not 100% - it looks 100% better than it did.

But hey....If you're one of those guys who has some dead time on weekends to fill - I highly recommend giving it a try. It's time consuming - but not overly difficult. And I always enjoy learning a new skill

This is going to be step one. Being on an edge, odds are poor, but I'm going to try. I have panel working tools already, just can't get behind there.

This plus the post about the access hole are making me think my backup plan is the Metalcloak skin.
