DIESEL DIESEL DIESEL <--- I am asking a DIESEL specific question :)

I have a 21 JTRD. Here in Atlantic Canda, a lot of roads I drive on are rougher than most prairie cow paths. The stock diesel Rubicon suspension is just terrible -too soft, I bounce all over thenplace and hit the bumpstops regularly. I almost feel like I need a KOH capable suspension around here. Unfortunately I don't have 10-20k to drop on a suspension.

So, I am asking for suggestions for a lift kit that turn this thing into a more capable high speed runner, on a bit of a budget. I want the suspension to do the work, and leave me and the cab as steady as possible. I just watched a video for the Teraflex extended travel and was impressed. I plan to run 37s and am looking to spend under 3k. What are my best options? Will EVO plush rides and Bilsteins do the trick? Clayton (which kit?) Others?

While my experience off-road is limited to about two weekends (Bosch CP4 failure), running the factory MOPAR lift was a substantial improvement over the stock ride. The first trip out was in Johnson Valley (where KOH is run). On washboard with the 37s (Nitto Terra Grapplers) the ride quality was night and day. The wife's JLU 4xe has the Mopar kit as well on 35s, and I'd take the 37s over the 35s any day of the week, just for some more push to 37s!

I don't know of anyone getting the TSB done yet but it may help... Nobody knows yet, but most people seem to doubt it will help much
JTRD only for now:
New front and rear shocks and new front jounce bumpers. TSB 02-003-22

Personally I'm waiting for it, then the 2in AEV spacer and 37s... see how that goes

I am running the Clayton off-road 3.5” overland plus kit on my 21 JTRD. At the time of purchase they did not have diesel specific springs but they do now. I got the kit during holiday pricing and it was bundled with falcon monotube shocks and a Currie currentlync tierod and drag link. So far I only have great things to say. It’s slightly stiffer than stock but I like the feel and it does great off road.

I was also interested in the extended travel teraflex kit but it’s pretty damn spendy And as far as I know there isn’t a diesel specific version.

My JTRD rides pretty good on the Mopar lift and 37's. It flexes good and it goes as fast as I'm willing to push it, albeit, I am a bit of a chickenshit.
